Rosebuds and Rosehips
This is a small wall quilt measuring 14.5 inches x 24.5 inches.
I digitally embroidered the leaves and rosehips onto a piece of an old quilt of mine. I had previously discharged the original colour back to a paler version. Once the embroidery was complete I extended the stems, leaves, hips and rosebuds by hand painting them with fabric paint. The quilt has a fabric sleeve on the reverse to enable hanging with a rod or dowel.
