This is a small wall quilt featuring digitally embroidered leaves and grapes on a digital fabric print of old distressed plaster walls. Once the embroidery was complete I extended the design by hand painting more leaves and grapes with fabric paint. The quilting is a combination of digital and free motion machine quilting. I’ve added final detail with hand stitched French knots. The quilt has a fabric sleeve on the reverse to enable hanging with a rod or dowel.
