I liked this subject so much I made several versions of it changing some details each time. This version features a digital fern embroidery worked over a digital fabric print of a pastel drawing I made on watercolour paper. I hand painted the fern with a metallic fabric paint and the quilting is free motion machine stitch using a lovely variegated rayon thread. It was quite a time consuming piece but I think it was worth it! The quilt has a fabric sleeve to enable hanging with a rod or dowel.

This little wall quilt measures 10.5 inches x 23 inches.
