| I've spent a lot of time finding out about my maternal side of the family and thought I should research my father's side too. It turns out that there is a fascinating history of lacemakers who went from Nottingham to Calais to Australia! This quilt uses old lace as the inspiration for the quilting. Both sections are wholecloth and joined after binding using buttons and buttonholes. the guitar reference? Well it's my Dad who plays the guitar.... | |||||||||
